One Door Closes….

(by Charles Fairlie – Client Dev./Marketing Dir.)…

“It really warms your heart and makes you feel you’re helping people in desperate need when you receive positive feedback like this recent phone call from a new client:

“ It’s an absolute miracle that we came across your website. People have been telling my husband and me for years that we should “go bankrupt” but we refused to give in, even though we’ve been affected directly by the drought over the last 7 years. You’re doing a great job…well done! We’re really appreciative of what you do to help people.”

Like many stories we’ve heard, friends, accountants, lawyers tend to flaunt the “B” word like it was a casual trip to the mall. But of course, the emotional and mental effects are not explained….mainly because the friends, accountants, and lawyers haven’t experienced the “b” word for themselves. Yes it can wipe your debt slate clean, but what dirt stains does it leave on your attitude, self-value, and outlook on life? Yes, bankruptcy will end in three years, but how long will it before you give yourself a break…?

Back to this client though, the client didn’t know which way to turn, after months of sleepless nights, and endless worrying. They finally found us on the net after extensive research and going down dead-ends and no-through-roads. They are now so relieved to have someone in their corner fighting the good fight for them, instead of constantly juggling their debts and bashing their heads against the outside wall of the banks… all they got was more headaches!

Having someone on the inside who can take you straight to the right door and even knock on that door for you so that you speak to the right person upfront is a major advantage!

I agree Charles, it does warm your heart to help people and make a difference in their lives. Even if we give our clients little relief each day then we’ve done what we are here to do.
